Job summary

PsiQuantum seeks a Staff Applications, Test & Failure Analysis Engineer to bridge the Electronics team and the System Engineering team, resolving PCBA issues, performing failure analysis, and driving corrective actions. The role partners with thermal, mechanical, firmware, RTL and optical engineers to improve test coverage and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics or equivalent.
• 7 years of relevant experience in applications, test and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the quantum computer electrical and system designs.
• Answer internal customer inquiries.
• Trouble-shoot customer problems in cross-functional teams as needed.
• Perform failure analysis on customer returns and internal yield loss.
• Implement corrective action in test and designs as needed.
• Participate in design and test coverage reviews.
