Job summary

PsiQuantum is seeking a Senior Electronics Systems Integration & Validation Engineer to lead the integration, verification, and deployment of complex electronic systems for photonic quantum computing platforms. The role develops strategies, test methodologies, and validation processes to ensure performance, reliability, and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in EE, CS, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience integrating, verifying, and troubleshooting complex electronic systems with embedded software and firmware.
• Strong debugging, cross-functional collaboration, and system-level problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration, bring-up, verification, and validation of electronic, embedded software, firmware, FPGA, and control subsystems for photonic quantum computing platforms.
• Define and execute system integration, verification, testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and automated test frameworks.
• Develop and execute system-level test plans with Optical, Software, and Quantum Engineering teams to verify hardware, firmware, software, detector readout, and data-acquisition interfaces.
• Integrate and validate single-photon detector readout, high-speed digitizers, PIC multiplexing systems, timing/synchronization electronics, and data-acquisition subsystems.
• Drive root-cause investigations and data-driven debugging across hardware, firmware, software, and control interfaces.
• Validate releases and develop diagnostics, health-monitoring tools, and automation to improve integration efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain integration procedures, validation protocols, and technical documentation supporting manufacturing and field support.
• Collaborate with Software, Firmware, Electronics, Optical, and Test Engineering to resolve issues and improve product maturity.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement of integration and test methodologies.
