UI Health is seeking a Staff Nurse I for the 5NE Surgical unit (Flex Nights) in Chicago. This 0.9 FTE position requires Illinois residency within 180 days and offers a night-shift schedule from 7pm to 7:30am with weekend coverage.

As a direct patient care provider, you will develop plans, collaborate with the care team, verify orders, and mentor staff. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice and professional growth within UI Health's nursing practice model.

Competenze

• Eligibility for licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR and/or other required unit-specific certifications.
• Current ACLS, or within 6 months of hire for main hospital.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Excellent attendance and work history requirement.

• Develops, implements, and updates the patient’s plan of care based on ongoing assessment.
