Collectors is seeking a Staff NPI Engineer to join the Mechanical Engineering team at PSA in Santa Ana, CA. You will own the global part qualification, drive tool sets from kickoff to production, and manage design transfers across regional offices.

You will collaborate with product development and operations to ensure smooth NPI handoffs from DFM through first article, and help build repeatable playbooks across supplier sites.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or product launches in high-precision, high-volume settings.
• Experience leading large plastics and injection molding tooling programs.
• Knowledge of PPAP/FAI, GD&T, and supplier qualification processes.

Responsabilités

• Own global part qualification end-to-end, improving cycle time and removing bottlenecks.
• Lead injection molding tool set implementation from kickoff to production release.
• Manage design transfers to domestic and international offices with validated process requirements.
