Job summary

Saint-Gobain in Garden Grove is seeking a site-based Senior Process Engineer to lead injection molding process development, new mold introductions, tooling optimization, production readiness, and continuous improvement. The role blends technical ownership with project delivery and cross-functional leadership to grow the process and tooling team.

You will own new mold introductions, drive standardized processes, reduce scrap, and implement Lean improvements while ensuring ISO 9001 and Life

Qualifications

Requires engineering bachelor's degree and 7+ years in plastics manufacturing.
6+ years of hands-on injection molding experience with project and problem-solving expertise.
RGJ Master Molder I and Six Sigma Green Belt certification or timely attainment.

Responsibilities

Owns new mold introductions from design review to production release with schedules and trials.
Develops and standardizes injection molding processes, improves cycle time and yield.
Leads WCM savings projects and scrap-reduction strategy with data-driven validation.
Defines Kaizen events, coaches Lean methods, and drives cross-functional problem solving.
Provides technical direction for mold maintenance and CAPEX justifications while leading ~3 direct reports.
