Job summary

INTERCONNECT SOLUTIONS COMPANY LLC in Fountain Valley, CA, seeks an NPI Engineering Supervisor to lead engineers and technicians, prioritize workloads, and drive new product introductions through transfer to production with a focus on manufacturability and speed.

You will partner with Engineering, Account Management, Supply Chain and Operations to ensure successful transitions, coach the team, and resolve complex manufacturing challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Manufacturing/NP I Engineering or related function.
• 2+ years direct people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and project management.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of NPI Engineers and Technicians, setting expectations and coaching.
• Set priorities and manage workloads across the NPI team.
• Oversee NPI execution from order to production transfer on schedule.
• Coordinate product transfers between NPI, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Drive DFM/DFA to improve manufacturability, yield, and cycle time.
• Provide hands-on leadership for complex issues using root cause analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement to shorten NPI cycle time and improve efficiency.
• Monitor performance and communicate status, risks, and needs to stakeholders.
• Develop scalable manufacturing processes for tooling, equipment, and methods.
