Nory is hiring a Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the Platform team in rebuilding the mobile app from the ground up. You will own the end-to-end mobile platform, shape UX decisions, and ensure reliability in challenging environments.

The role involves deep React Native expertise, collaboration with product and design, and integrating AI to accelerate delivery. Remote-first culture, competitive compensation, and meaningful equity are part of the package, with offices in Europe and the US for support

Qualifications

• Extensive experience shipping production React Native apps in TypeScript.
• Ability to own both UX decisions and technical implementation.
• Experience building scalable mobile platforms in challenging environments.
• Comfort reading backend services (FastAPI) when needed.
• Ability to work in a remote-first, globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile platform end to end, from current state to full production rebuild.
• Lead design decisions and defend UX choices when needed.
• Build and maintain modular React Native components and design system.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineers across the business.
• Leverage AI to move fast while upholding high quality standards.
