Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) in Austin, TX seeks a Staff Systems Engineer to lead complex product-system development across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and software domains. You will own system integration, define interfaces, and guide NPD programs from MRD to PRS while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, create system documentation, perform DFMEA, and ensure safety, regulatory, and verification plans are met. Fluent English required; hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or systems engineering).
• 7+ years of experience leading technical work across multiple disciplines.
• Experience developing product/system requirements, verification, and risk analyses.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level design and integration across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and software domains.
• Lead MRD-to-PRS gap analysis and requirements traceability.
• Define verification, validation strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering standards.
• Deliver high-quality hardware designs on schedule.
