Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) is seeking a Sr Field Service Engineer in Austin, TX. This hybrid role supports post-sale delivery, overseeing installations, lab setups, and field validations for national customers.

You will lead ASO technician activities, perform advanced diagnostics on fueling payment and network systems, and collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to drive improvements and ensure success across deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering field; substantial experience may substitute a degree.
• Fueling industry experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for fuel payment, POS, and network systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop installation scope of work and oversee ASO technicians during installs.
• Provide field support for initial installations and product integration.
• Lead lab setup and software updates, and manage field validation at customer sites.
• Act as a technical SME with advanced troubleshooting using logs and traces.
• Prepare reports and communicate performance issues to Engineering.
