Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Actuation Systems to lead end-to-end manufacturing development for high‑performance actuators used in sea and air platforms. You will oversee DFM/DFA feedback with Design Eng, architect tooling, and drive MES/ERP MBOMs for complex assemblies.

The role requires 12+ years in precision electromechanical hardware, hands-on manufacturing experience, and a deep focus on manufacturing excellence in demanding environments. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive manufacturing or design engineering experience with precision mechanical components.
• Proven track record mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives.
• Experience delivering electromechanical hardware (actuators, robotics) in fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in MBOM creation, MES integration, and RCCA for actuator production.
• Proficient with Siemens NX for CAD and Teamcenter for PLM.
• Hands-on hardware manufacturing experience (machining, additive manufacturing, assembly).
• Interest in high-performance defense hardware and continuous technical mastery.
• U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing development and production of high-performance actuators.
• Drive NPI initiatives, transitioning from prototype to scalable production.
• Define MBOMs and routings within MES/ERP for actuator sub-assemblies.
• Develop and standardize manufacturing documentation and test methods.
• Mentor engineers and technicians during prototyping and production validation.
