Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer (Low Observable) to scale LO production at Arsenal 1 in Ashville, OH. You will own LO processes, coatings, and MRB disposition, working across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure compliant, efficient production.

You will lead CAPA, support FAI/AS9102, and collaborate on manufacturability early in design cycles, with a strong emphasis on on-floor problem solving and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field and 3+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• Experience with MRB, nonconformance disposition, and CAPA.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 and common quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, FAI/AS9102).
• Hands-on coating processes, cure cycles, surface prep, and adhesion testing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; strong on-floor problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain LO manufacturing processes including RAM/RAS coatings.
• Lead MRB investigations and disposition of nonconforming material.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process specs, travelers, and inspection criteria.
• Drive CAPA and track MRB trends to improve control plans.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain on manufacturability early.
• Support FAI/AS9102, SPC, and process validation activities.
• Coordinate with NDI/NDT and quality to define coating acceptance criteria.
• Lead RCCA investigations using structured problem solving (8D, 5-Why, fishbone).
• Maintain LO/coatings specs documentation and ensure compliance.
• Identify continuous improvement to reduce scrap and cycle time.
