Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Low Observable Technician to join our LO team. You will work on RAM-based coatings for composite and metallic airframes, applying primers and topcoats with a focus on electromagnetic performance and durability.

The role is hands-on manufacturing, requiring spray, hand layup, and finishing skills, with attention to process discipline and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of coatings application experience in production or research.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process specs, and MIL-spec docs.
• Proficiency with HVLP and conventional spray equipment; control DFT within tight tolerances.
• S. Citizenship required; able to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and apply LO coatings, RAM, and aerospace primers/topcoats to substrates.
• Perform surface prep on carbon fiber/epoxy composites and metals.
• Mix multi-component coatings per specs; verify ratios, pot life, viscosity.
• Apply coatings via multiple methods to meet thickness and EM performance specs.
• Maintain equipment, booths, and curing ovens; ensure traceability.
