Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer (Low Observable Systems) in Ashville, OH to scale LO processes for RAM/RAS coatings and bonded composites. The role blends manufacturing, quality, and engineering to ensure compliant, reproducible LO structures.

You will own MRB/disposition, CAPA, process docs, and PM data while interfacing with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve producibility and reduce scrap. A DoD security posture is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing with LO materials/coatings.
• Experience in MRB with nonconformance disposition and CAPA.
• Familiarity with coating application, cure, adhesion tests.
• Ability to read/author engineering drawings, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop, qualify, and sustain LO manufacturing processes (RAM/RAS coatings, surface prep, topcoats).
• Lead MRB activities, root-cause investigations, and disposition of nonconforming material.
• Create and maintain WIs, process specs, travelers, and inspection criteria.
• Drive CAPA programs to close out nonconformances and track trends in MRB.
• Assess manufacturability early in design cycles with cross-functional teams.
• Support FAI/AS9102, process validation, and SPC for coating properties.
• Define acceptance criteria for coating integrity and bonds with QA teams.
• Lead RCCA investigations using 8D/5-Why/fishbone methods.
