Job summary

Anduril Industries in Ashville, Ohio, is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to lead development of manufacturing processes for our defense hardware. You will own end‑to‑end manufacturing, guide DFMA feedback, and create tooling and production lines for complex assemblies.

You will write work instructions, QC plans, and collaborate with contract manufacturers, traveling to supplier sites to implement robust quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in manufacturing process development in high‑reliability environments.
• Experience creating detailed work instructions and manufacturing process documentation.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing of Anduril’s intelligence systems across all manufacturing steps.
• Provide design for manufacturability and assembly feedback.
• Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
• Develop process flows and production lines for sub‑assemblies.
• Evaluate and disposition non‑conformances of hardware.
• Write work instructions, quality plans and inspection requirements.
• Iterate on assembly processes with contract manufacturers for scale.
• Work hands‑on with technicians to build prototype hardware.
• Contribute to mechanical/electrical design including interconnects.
• Travel to suppliers to source and solve production issues.
