Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Staff Manufacturing Engineer (Low Observable) to scale LO materials/coatings production at Arsenal 1 in Ashville, OH. The role blends manufacturing, quality, and engineering to drive repeatable LO processes and MRB disposition.

You will own process specifications, CAPA programs, FAI support, and collaboration with design and supply chain to ensure producibility of LO features for advanced defense systems. A U.S. person is required for ITAR/EAR considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing with LO materials/coatings.
• Experience in MRB and nonconformance disposition.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, 8D, FAI/AS9102).
• Hands-on coating application, cure cycles, surface prep, adhesion testing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain LO manufacturing processes for RAM/RAS coatings and bonded composites.
• Lead MRB activities, nonconformance disposition, and CAPA tracking.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process specs, and inspection criteria.
• Drive CAPA initiatives and monitor MRB trends for process improvements.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Supply Chain on manufacturability in early design.
