Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to lead and execute engineering services for power generation clients. You will manage multiple services tasks, drive client actions, coordinate with vendors, and lead deliverables through development and review processes.

Ideal candidates have 11+ years of related experience, PE licensure, and a strong background in DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI, and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 11 years of related engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license or country-of-practice equivalent, or active pursuit of such registration if not already registered.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex I&C engineering services across conventional power generation.
• Develop scopes of work, estimates, schedules, staffing plans, and client-ready technical recommendations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal discipline teams to deliver.
• Support FATs, commissioning, site walkdowns, and turnover documentation for BV projects.
• Mentor junior staff and translate lessons into reusable approaches.
