Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking a Staff Product Development Technical Program Manager to lead AI server and hyperscale platform programs from definition to production. You will coordinate hardware, firmware, and software teams, manage BOMs, and drive manufacturability and reliability for scalable server platforms.

Ideal candidates excel at system-level execution across electrical, mechanical, and thermal domains, with strong leadership, risk management, and executive communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning system-level hardware programs across the full development lifecycle.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Experience with BOM lifecycle, change control, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level technical program strategy and execution across feature delivery and product quality.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Operations and Supply Chain.
• Lead complex multi-disciplinary system solutions spanning PCBAs, mechanicals, power, thermal, OS, BIOS, and diagnostics.
• Act as system-level integrator, ensuring alignment across hardware, firmware and software architectures.
• Ensure manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and scalability for production readiness.
• Establish and lead weekly program reviews and milestone checkpoints with global stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks at the system level with cross-functional solutions.
• Provide data-driven program status and escalation paths to senior leadership.
• Govern documentation and communications through the development lifecycle.
