Job summary

AMD’s Data Center Platform Engineering Group is seeking a Staff Product Development Technical Program Manager in Austin, TX. You will lead AI server and hyperscale platform programs across the full product lifecycle, coordinating hardware, firmware, software, and supplier teams to meet aggressive schedule, cost, and quality targets.

You will translate platform requirements into executable hardware programs, drive clarity in ambiguous environments, and mentor teams to achieve execution excellence

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning system-level hardware programs across the full development lifecycle.
• Strong program leadership and cross-functional execution across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• Experience with BOM lifecycle, change control, and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level technical program strategy and execution across feature delivery and lifecycle.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, sales, operations, and supply chain.
• Lead complex, multidisciplinary system solutions spanning PCBAs, mechanics, power, and BIOS.
• Act as a system-level integrator ensuring alignment across hardware, firmware, and software.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and scalability needs.
• Lead weekly program reviews and milestone checkpoints with global stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and communicate program risks with mitigation plans.
• Provide data-driven program status and escalation paths to senior leadership.
• Manage governance, documentation, and communications throughout development.
• Define, track, and publish program metrics and KPIs for health reporting.
• Lead BOM strategy and execution from prototype to production and ensure cost alignment.
• Mentor and influence other TPMs and technical leads to raise execution rigor.
