Job summary

Aktos is an AI-driven Vertical Software startup seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer (70/30 Backend leaning) to help build the core Operating System powering the debt collection industry. The role focuses on end-to-end features across the stack and requires strong Python/Django and React expertise.

You will own critical components, work with leadership, and help evolve the product in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ Years of Software Development Experience.
• Professional experience with Python (5+ years required).
• Professional experience with Django (5+ years required).
• Professional experience with JavaScript (React/Redux preferred).
• Strong understanding of a RDBMS (Postgres preferred).
• Experience with AWS (Terraform experience preferred).
• Full-stack development experience across frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Head of Engineering, CEO, and other engineers to build full stack features.
• Lead technical initiatives across the stack and own execution.
• Take end-to-end ownership of key components of the product roadmap.
• Refine the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and optimize AWS infrastructure.
