Job summary

Albert Bow is seeking a Senior/Staff Full-Stack Engineer (backend-leaning) in New York City for a hybrid role with 3 days onsite. You will own products end-to-end, building scalable APIs, data models, and orchestration for internal tools and customer-facing apps using Python/Node.js, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong backend skills, and track records of ownership and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Senior/Staff Full-Stack Engineer, Backend-Leaning | New York City | Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite | $200K–$250K Base

We are hiring a Senior/Staff Full-Stack Engineer for an early-stage AI company building technology for complex operational workflows.

This is a backend-leaning role for someone who enjoys owning products end to end, from scalable APIs, data models, and workflow orchestration to internal tools and customer-facing applications.

You’ll work on scalable backend systems, production APIs, relational data models, AI-powered workflows, and full-stack product development using technologies such as Python or Node.js, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.

We’re looking for someone with:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend experience with Python, Node.js, Django, or FastAPI
• Experience with TypeScript, React, APIs, and PostgreSQL
• End-to‑end product ownership
• Strong communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders
