Qualifications

• 8+ years in frontend software engineering with JS/HTML/CSS.
• Experience leading front-end initiatives with complex architectures.
• Ability to design scalable, accessible UI systems for large user bases.
• Experience using data and telemetry to guide frontend decisions.
• Strong written communication of complex technical trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of compiler passes and JavaScript transformations to improve quality and performance.
• Build and enhance developer tooling infrastructure including linters and test runners.
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into developer workflows for automated fixes and tooling help.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of major JS tooling initiatives across teams.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in build systems and execution environments.
• Establish best practices for JavaScript tooling including AST manipulation and static analysis.
• Mentor engineers on compiler design and tooling architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to set roadmaps and drive priorities.
• Address technical debt and lead migrations to modern standards at scale.
• Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and roadmaps clearly to leadership and teams.
