Qualifications

• 8+ years of front-end software engineering including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience leading front-end initiatives with complex architecture and cross-team coordination.
• Experience designing scalable, performant UI systems for large user bases.
• Experience using data and telemetry to drive front-end decisions.
• Excellent written and spoken communication of technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of compiler passes and JavaScript transformations.
• Build and enhance developer tooling including linters, test runners, and code analysis tools.
• Integrate LLM-powered capabilities into developer workflows.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of major JS tooling initiatives across teams.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in build systems and bundles.
• Mentor engineers on compiler design and tooling architecture.
• Set technical direction for developer tools and roadmaps.
• Address technical debt and migrations to modern standards.
• Communicate roadmap decisions clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and infra.
