Job summary

JLL is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to rapidly design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled solutions across multiple teams. You will own end-to-end technical delivery, from concept to production, using AI coding assistants and custom plugins.

The role emphasizes scalable architecture, data pipelines, and stakeholder collaboration. Applicants should have deep hands-on experience with AI agents, data engineering, and full-stack development, with a proven ability to mentor others and

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of software engineering experience with customer-facing or embedded delivery.
• Strong software architecture background; able to defend system architecture across varied tools.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants as a primary development workflow; experience building plugins/skills.
• Experience deploying AI agents on AWS Bedrock AgentCore and MCP server/client implementations.
• Data engineering and full-stack development across varied sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for complex, cross-functional data and AI problems from discovery to technical blueprint.
• Define and communicate architecture decisions and delivery approaches to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design scalable, modular systems balancing speed with enterprise reliability and security.
• Develop and maintain AI agents and plugins; redesign data pipelines and data flows.
• Deploy and operate AI agents in production via AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
• Mentor engineers and define technical standards adopted beyond your work.
