Job summary

JLL is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to operate at the front lines of innovation, partnering with product and engineering teams to rapidly design, prototype, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions. You will own architecture decisions, deliver production-ready prototypes, and shepherd complex data/AI problems from discovery to deployment.

The role demands strong communication and the ability to influence without authority. The position is onsite at multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with solution design & architecture ownership.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents, including skills, tools, memory, and multi-step reasoning.
• Direct experience with AWS Agent Core or equivalent and MCP servers/clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for complex data and AI problems from discovery to technical blueprint.
• Design scalable, modular systems balancing speed, security, and maintainability.
• Develop working prototypes within compressed timeframes; production-ready, not throwaway.
• Collaborate with product, program, and engineering teams to co-define problems and deliver solutions.
