Job summary

JLL is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to rapidly design, prototype, and deploy AI‑driven solutions across multiple teams. You will own technical strategy, architect scalable data platforms, and push production code using AI coding assistants and AWS Bedrock AgentCore.

The role emphasizes hands‑on engineering across AI agents, data pipelines, and full‑stack interfaces, with a focus on eliminating ambiguity and delivering production‑ready prototypes. Collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of software engineering experience with customer‑facing or embedded delivery roles.
• Strong software architecture background—able to defend system architecture across varied tools and platforms.
• Direct hands‑on experience using AI coding assistants as a primary development workflow; experience building plugins/skills is a plus.
• Direct experience building and deploying AI agents on AWS Bedrock AgentCore is required.
• Experience with MCP server/client implementation and data pipelines across varied sources.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for complex data and AI problems from discovery to technical blueprint.
• Select tools and architectures for multiple teams and communicate decisions clearly.
• Define scalable, modular systems with reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Develop and deploy AI agents and multi‑agent systems to automate workflows end‑to‑end.
• Mentor engineers and define technical standards adopted beyond your own work.
• Embed with cross‑functional teams to co‑define problems and deliver solutions.
