Job summary
Grafana Labs seeks a Staff Field Engineer to accelerate adoption of Grafana in strategic deals. You will craft content, run live demos, and mentor field engineers while shaping product direction with cross-functional teams.
Remote-first role requiring deep observability expertise, strong presentation skills, and experience in presales. You will own end-to-end workflows, build reference architectures, and contribute to technical training content and docs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of related technical experience, including senior field engineer or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Advise on strategic deals with Solution Engineers and Observability Architects.
- Serve as a SME in Grafana Platform areas and build reference architectures.
- Craft and deliver value-based stories to help close deals.
- Own creation of technical training content and workshops.
- Maintain a live production environment for demos and POVs.
- Influence product direction and surface enablement gaps.
- Present at marketing events as Grafana ambassador.
- Provide guidance to Solution Engineers and customers on best practices.
- Update product docs and contribute white papers.
- Mentor Senior and Staff Field Engineers.
