Job summary

Collectors Universe, Inc. seeks a Staff Engineering Manager to lead the vault and fulfillment software team responsible for the warehouse management system, vault services, and integrations.

You will partner with product, own reliability and roadmap, mentor engineers, and champion AI-first approaches while balancing on-call readiness and security in a high-value inventory environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and 5+ years leading software teams.
• Experience building and operating high-reliability systems for physical operations or similar.
• Experience with AI, LLMs, and agentic frameworks to boost productivity.
• Strong knowledge of modern cloud architectures, distributed systems, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vault and fulfillment software engineering team, owning delivery and quality.
• Own the WMS and vault services, ensuring reliability and scalable design.
• Partner with product to shape roadmap and drive KTLO and platform investments.
• Champion AI-first approaches to engineering and tooling.
• Establish on-call, incident response, and observability practices.
