Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 6+ years directly related experience making technical decisions.
• Advanced experience with U.S. and International standards (FMVSS, ANSI, SAE, ASTM, IEC).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.

Aufgaben

• Provide local management with technical assessment of engineering skills and performance levels.
• Assess training and develop new training programs.
• Provide ongoing support on technical issues, test procedures, and standards interpretations.
• Provide expertise in multiple product categories and develop test procedures.
• Support accreditation activities and audit follow-up; investigate technical complaints.
• Identify, document, and recommend engineering judgments; manage capital projects.
• Mentor less senior technical staff.
