Job summary

BD Urology and Critical Care (UCC) is seeking a talented Staff Engineer to join our High Volume Consumables R&D team, focusing on early-stage design within the New Product Development process. This role offers hands-on experience in Biodesign, requirements management, DFSS, and design validation, collaborating with BD’s SME network to shape the next generation of medical technologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a design/development engineer in regulated industry.
• BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in design control, development, and commercialization.
• Experience with Design for Six Sigma and design validation.
• Experience with DFM and manufacturing methods.
