Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a design/development engineer.
• BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or STEM) required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Proficient in design control, development, and commercialization in regulated industry.
• Ability to plan and monitor R&D activities; adapt to scope/timing changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development activities within High Volume Consumables R&D.
• Collaborate across functions to drive project alignment and problem solving.
• Translate user and market insights into actionable engineering requirements.
• Apply DFSS methodologies, including DOE and Critical Parameters Management.
• Navigate design controls through phase gates, design reviews, and assessments.
