Job summary

BD Urology and Critical Care (UCC) seeks a Senior Engineer for the High Volume Consumables R&D team, focusing on early-stage design within New Product Development. You will gain hands-on experience in Biodesign, requirements management, DFSS, and design validation, with structured professional development and collaboration with BD Subject Matter Experts.

You will translate user and market insights into actionable engineering requirements, apply DFSS and DOE techniques, and navigate design

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in design or development engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Proficient in design control processes, development, and commercialization in regulated industry.
• Ability to plan and monitor R&D activities and adapt to scope/timing changes.
• Experience applying engineering design processes and SSDF techniques such as Design for Six Sigma.
