Job summary

CVS Health is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, delivering interactive dashboards and resilient microservices.

You’ll mentor teams, drive DevOps and cloud practices, and embed AI features to automate workflows while improving Payer operations. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping the technical roadmap and delivering scalable health tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Front-end and back-end expertise with scalable systems.
• Experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and data viz libraries.
• Proven APIs, microservices, and data integration skills.
• Hands-on AI model integration and orchestration.
• Cloud and DevOps experience with CI/CD and IaC tooling.
• Strong communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Full Stack Development: lead end‑to‑end design and scalable apps.
• Dashboarding & Data Visualization: build rich dashboards and UI.
• Backend & Data Integrations: design secure APIs and data connections.
