Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and intuitive frontends, delivering dashboards, resilient microservices, and AI-driven automation.

You will mentor teams, shape technical roadmaps, and ensure operational excellence across the stack as you optimize Payer Operations and metadata enrichment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development and scalable architectures.
• Experience designing and building scalable web applications spanning frontend to backend.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and mentor engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations and data-driven product features.
• Proficient with cloud-native practices, CI/CD, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect dashboards and UIs to surface complex data insights.
• Design secure APIs and integrations with diverse data sources.
• Champion AI/ML features and automation across products.
• Drive CD/CI, containerization, and IaC for rapid releases.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers and align with product leadership.
• Clarify vague requirements by engaging stakeholders.
