Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems, AI capabilities, and frontend experiences, delivering interactive dashboards and secure microservices.

You will champion DevOps and embed AI features to automate workflows. You will mentor teams, drive architectural standards, and collaborate with product leadership to shape the technical roadmap, focusing on Payer Operations automation and data

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Deep expertise in server-side languages and microservices architectures.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and integrating complex data feeds.
• Hands-on AI model integration and AI orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of highly scalable web applications.
• Architect rich dashboards and UI to surface complex data insights clearly and efficiently.
• Design secure, scalable APIs and integration layers with diverse data objects and third-party systems.
• Embed AI/ML capabilities into products to automate workflows and provide intelligent insights.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC for reliable releases.
• Mentor engineers, set coding standards, and align architectural decisions with product leadership.
