CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of core applications, bridging complex backend data systems, AI capabilities, and intuitive frontend experiences. You will be a hands-on technical leader designing dashboards, building resilient microservices, and orchestrating deep integrations with data objects and third‑party platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with full-stack development, system architecture, and scalable applications.
• Strong UI/UX data visualization experience and ability to surface complex data insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications (front-end and back-end).
• Architect and implement dashboards and data visualizations.
• Design secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers with diverse data objects and third-party systems.
• Champion AI/ML integration into core products and automating workflows.
• Drive DevOps culture with CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform).
• Establish monitoring, logging, and performance profiling across the stack; own root-cause analysis.
• Mentor frontend, backend, and DevOps engineers; align with product leadership on tech roadmap.
• Handle ambiguity and collaborate with stakeholders to define clear requirements.
