CVS Health is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead architecture, development, and scaling of core applications. You will bridge backend data systems with AI capabilities and frontend experiences, championing a DevOps culture and AI-enabled features across the stack.

You will mentor teams, design scalable microservices, implement rich dashboards, and drive robust data integrations with third-party platforms, ensuring operational excellence and high availability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering with a focus on full-stack development and scalable apps.
• Proficiency with modern JS/TS frameworks and data visualization libraries.
• Experience designing scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating AI models and APIs into software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications.
• Architect and implement dashboards and data visualizations surface complex insights.
• Design secure, scalable APIs and data integration layers across systems.
• Champion AI/ML integration to automate workflows and provide insights.
• Advance orchestration beyond basic file transfers with robust error handling.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and IaC for high availability.
• Mentor engineers and set coding standards with product teams.
• Ensure monitoring, logging, and performance profiling across the stack.
