Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Engineer Electronics - Hardware Integration to join our team. The role supports HW integration on developmental NGAS programs and may be located in San Diego, CA or Melbourne, FL.

The engineer will help design, develop, test and verify hardware subsystems for airborne platforms. The position requires extensive RF experience, a TS/SAP clearance, and collaboration with hardware, software and firmware teams to meet mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SAP clearance required or to be obtained.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and testing RF equipment for airborne platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop hardware architectures and interfaces for HW integration on NGAS programs.
• Analyze performance and verify allocated requirements.
• Document designs with schematics, diagrams and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including hardware, software and firmware engineers.
• Develop supplier documentation and statements of work.
