Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our Digital/Mixed-Signal Electronics team in Denver, CO. You will own end-to-end design of complex electronics for satellites and aerospace systems, from concept to production, including high-density PCB layouts and rigorous validation.

The role requires leading small hardware teams, performing detailed SI/PI analyses, and delivering hardware ready for space applications.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of complex electronics modules and small systems from concept through production.
• Lead small teams of hardware engineers on multi-module assemblies.
• Develop hardware architecture and write hardware requirements.
• Perform detailed schematic design and PCB layout for high-density boards.
• Conduct system-level and board-level analysis (SI/PI).
• Develop bring-up plans and verification testing for hardware.
• Release modules to production with Manufacturing.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers.
• Collaborate with adjacent software and mechanical fields.
