Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for complex subsystems on automated material-handling robots. You will guide designs from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and cost effectiveness, while collaborating with mechanical, firmware, safety, and contract manufacturers.

You will mentor teammates, drive PDP-aligned design reviews, and support production through first article and ramp.

Qualifications

• Must can lead complex electrical designs from concept to production.
• Experience integrating electronics with mechanical, firmware, and controls interfaces.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and EMC/EMI design practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex subsystems and interfaces on automated material-handling robots.
• Drive designs from concept through production, including schematic, PCB layout, prototype, DVT, and release.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, safety, PLM, and contract manufacturers to enable manufacturing and test.
