Job summary

Symbotic LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electrical hardware for robotic material-handling systems. You will work on schematics, PCB layout, prototype support, and release through the PDP, collaborating with mechanical, firmware, test and manufacturing teams.

You will apply design practices, validate through tests, and contribute to ensuring manufacturability and reliability on high-density robotic platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of electrical design experience including board-level work.
• Proficient with Altium and PCB layout; willingness to learn PLM processes.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical solutions for boards, harnesses and interfaces from schematic to release.
• Create PCB layouts, perform placement, routing, and DFM validation.
• Support design reviews, PDP milestones, and documentation for release.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, test and manufacturing teams.
• Assist with EMC/EMI debugging and vendor interactions as needed.
