Job summary

The Rhode Island Department of Administration is seeking a Chief of Staff for Development, Training and Continuous Quality Improvement. You will plan, direct, and implement staff development programs for all staff levels, coordinating with schools and industry to create learning content.

Responsibilities include leading CQI initiatives, providing just-in-time training to COI teams, and ensuring data-informed performance improvement across the department. Strong Workday experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field as specified.
• Experience leading staff development, training or CQI programs.
• Ability to coordinate organizational learning and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and implement staff development and training programs across all staff levels.
• Coordinate department-wide community relations activities and training content.
• Provide technical assistance on training needs, content development, and evaluation.
• Support Workday training and change management communication.
• Assess program effectiveness via surveys and performance metrics.
