Job summary

Johnston County Department of Social Services is seeking a CQI/Trainer to join the Staff Development Unit in the Child Services Division. This role focuses on improving service quality through data analysis, case reviews, and staff training, while ensuring adherence to policy and addressing the complex needs of our customers.

The position supports 15% of duties related to training agency staff on essential policies and procedures, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work.
• Experience in CQI, staff training, and program evaluation.
• Knowledge of IV-E eligibility and funding sources.
• Strong data analysis and report writing skills.
• Ability to develop course outlines and lesson plans.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance using case and process reviews to assess policy adherence.
• Develop and deliver staff training to improve service quality.
• Analyze data to identify trends and inform program improvements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and leadership across the division.
• Provide coaching to staff and assist in CQI initiatives.
