Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking an experienced RN Staff Development Coordinator/Nurse Educator in Raleigh, NC. Lead training, orientation, and clinical education for our nursing staff to foster growth and excellence within the facility.

You will mentor nurses and nursing assistants, coordinate education programs, and ensure regulatory compliance, contributing to a strong culture of learning and patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Previous leadership role as Staff Development Coordinator/Nurse Educator preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead orientation and onboarding for new nursing staff.
• Coordinate and conduct clinical education and in-service training.
• Provide hands-on skills training and competency evaluations.
• Mentor and support new nurses and nursing assistants.
• Maintain training records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support quality improvement and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Partner with nursing leadership to strengthen team performance and retention.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day Shift
• On-call rotation as needed

Salary

From $85,000 per year based on experience
