Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management in Florida is seeking an RN to lead our professional development program within long-term care and sub-acute settings. You will partner with leadership to onboard new staff, train existing teams, and roll out new compliance and regulatory education.

The role requires an ASN or higher, active RN licensure in Florida, and 2+ years of nursing experience; LTC/SNF or clinical education experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • ASN or higher in Nursing and active RN licensure in the state.
  • Two or more years of nursing experience required.
  • CDC- IPCO Certification required or willing to complete within 5 days.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the professional development program in long-term care and sub-acute settings.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new staff and facilitate ongoing training.
  • Roll out new compliance and regulatory training and ensure regulatory education requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain center compliance and staff competency.

Requirements
  • Responsible for managing the professional development program in a long-term care and sub-acute care / skilled nursing / short-term rehabilitation setting.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new staff, training and facilitation of existing staff, rolling out of new compliance and regulatory training, and ensuring the center remains in compliance with all regulatory, credentialing and educational requirements.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Clear and active Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of practice required.
  • Two (2+) years' nursing experience required.
  • Long-Term Care or SNF Nursing experience OR Clinical Education and Staff Development experience strongly preferred.
  • CDC - IPCO Certification required or must be willing to complete within 5 days of employment.
