Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community in South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as Infection Prevention/Staff Development Coordinator. The role oversees IPCP, QAPI, and directs nursing staff education in long-term care and assisted living settings.

The ideal candidate will develop and implement infection prevention policies, assess training needs, coordinate onboarding, in-service trainings, and continuing education for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• Experience in Infection Prevention and Control Programs (IPCP).
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living settings.
• Leadership or staff education experience.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have experience successfully overseeing Infection Prevention and Control Programs (IPCP), Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs (QAPI), and directing and evaluating staff education programs in long term care facilities and/or assisted living facilities. This position is also responsible for developing policy regarding the organizations Infection Prevention Program, assessing the training needs of nursing staff and to develop, implement, evaluate, and document infection prevention and staff development programs including onboarding In-Service trainings, and Continuing Education Programs for nursing department personnel to include Certified Nursing Assistants.
