Job summary

Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join as Infection Prevention/Staff Development Coordinator. The role oversees IPCP and QAPI, directs staff education, and develops infection control policies across long-term care or assisted living settings.

Responsibilities include assessing training needs, implementing onboarding and ongoing education for nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with health standards.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Experience leading IPCP, QAPI, and staff education programs in long-term care or assisted living settings.
• Ability to develop and implement infection prevention policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Compensation starting at: $73,000 - $98,000/yr based on experience.
Recruiting & Retention Bonus totaling $5,000.

The ideal candidate will have experience successfully overseeing Infection Prevention and Control Programs (IPCP), Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs (QAPI), and directing and evaluating staff education programs in long term care facilities and/or assisted living facilities. This position is also responsible for developing policy regarding the organizations Infection Prevention Program, assessing the training needs of nursing staff and to develop, implement, evaluate, and document infection prevention and staff development programs including onboarding In-Service trainings, and Continuing Education Programs for nursing department personnel to include Certified Nursing Assistants.
