Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for GTM to lead AI/ML decision systems across sales and marketing. You will shape how models are designed, evaluated, and integrated into seller and marketer workflows, establishing technical standards and translating insights into business impact.

You will collaborate with GTM leaders and RevOps to identify high-value decisions, drive adoption, and mentor teams to elevate data science standards across GTM functions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience building production-grade statistical or ML systems with business impact.
• Experience setting technical direction across cross-functional or multi-team problem spaces.
• Deep expertise in causal inference, experimentation, forecasting, propensity modeling, uplift modeling, ranking, or recommendation systems.
• Strong Python and SQL skills and experience with large-scale data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for a portfolio of AI & ML GTM decision systems spanning Sales and Marketing.
• Develop pipeline forecasting methods that model stage progression, conversion, deal timing.
• Build models for accounts, leads, opportunities, and customers to identify propensity, risk, and next outcomes.
• Develop recommendation and next-best-action systems to guide GTM focus and timing.
• Apply causal inference and uplift modeling to measure incremental campaign and sales impact.
• Define standards for training, backtesting, calibration, ranking, and evaluating treatment effects.
