Job summary

Sidecar Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Analytics Engineer to build the data foundation for product teams. You will design data models in Snowflake, build pipelines, define metrics, and validate data to ship reliable insights.

You’ll work in a Snowflake-first stack, use Claude and Snowflake Cortex, and operate in a regulated healthcare setting with HIPAA considerations. This is a remote role based in the US, with eligibility across several states.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of analytics or data engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Math, Stats, Economics or related field.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience with semantic modeling.
• Commitment to data quality with tests and monitoring.
• Experience partnering with product teams to define metrics.
• Fluency with AI coding tools like Claude.
• Comfort with HIPAA/privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models and semantic models in Snowflake.
• Build pipelines behind models from ingestion through transformation.
• Create AI-ready data, metric definitions, and documentation.
• Guide data design decisions with Product and Engineering.
• Partner with product managers to convert roadmap into measurable metrics.
• Identify data gaps and drive resolution with Product and Engineering.
• Provide analyses to inform product decisions and evaluate feature performance.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness and ship with quality.
