Job summary

Sidecar Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Analytics Engineer to build a trusted data foundation for product metrics. You’ll design data models, pipelines, and metrics in a Snowflake-centric stack, using AI tools like Claude and Snowflake Cortex, while ensuring HIPAA-ready privacy and compliance.

Remote role for candidates in CA, OR, WA, UT, or TX. You will partner with Product and Engineering to translate roadmaps into measurable outcomes, validate data quality, and ship reliable data assets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 6+ years in analytics or data engineering building data models and pipelines.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills with testing and incremental models.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience including semantic modeling.
• Experience collaborating with product teams to define metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models and semantic models in Snowflake for product metrics.
• Build data pipelines from ingestion to transformation.
• Create AI-ready data and metric definitions for Cortex and CoWork integration.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape data capture and modeling.
• Provide analysis to inform product decisions and evaluate feature performance.
