Job summary

Sidecar Health, Inc. is seeking a Staff Data Analytics Engineer to build the data foundation our product teams rely on. You will design data models, pipelines, and metrics in a Snowflake-first stack, leveraging Claude and Snowflake Cortex to move faster while validating outputs.

You’ll work in a regulated healthcare environment with privacy built in and will shape data models early. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Business Analytics.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of analytics or data engineering experience building and maintaining data models and pipelines.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills, including incremental models and testing.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience, including semantic modeling.
• Commitment to data quality with tests and monitoring.
• Experience partnering with product teams to define metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dbt models and semantic models in Snowflake.
• Build pipelines from ingestion through transformation and align with data engineering on standards.
• Create AI-ready data with semantic models and metric definitions for Cortex/CoWork.
• Guide data design decisions with Product and Engineering.
• Partner with product managers to turn roadmap goals into measurable metrics.
• Identify data gaps and drive resolution with Product and Engineering.
• Provide analysis to inform product decisions and conduct experiment readouts and testing.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness and enforce HIPAA privacy controls.
• Document models, metric definitions, and design decisions for reuse.
